Secret History Shantyboat Exhibiting in November

IMG_3970-3.JPG

The primary artistic focus of the project is the Secret History shantyboat which serves not only as the expedition vessel but the project library and archive. The Secret History shantyboat is a rustic houseboat, a traditional wooden-hulled barge-bottom flatboat lovingly recreated by the artist and friends over a period of two years out of largely reclaimed materials.

At two art exhibits in November, the shantyboat will be on display, with the Secret History archive and library on exhibit within.
